Why can't roller bearings be used for early damage?

No matter what type of bearing, it can achieve fatigue life under normal conditions. However, if damage occurs in the early stage, such as improper consideration in installation, use and lubrication, or foreign body intruded from the outside or insufficient research on the shaft and bearing seat, it can not be used again.

The damage status of bearings, such as the scratch of ring edge of roller bearings, may be caused by insufficient lubricant, inappropriate brand, defective oil supply and drainage structure, foreign body intrusion, bearing installation error or excessive shaft deflection, or by the combination of the above reasons.

Therefore, it is difficult to know the cause of bearing damage only by investigating the bearing damage. However, on the basis of fully understanding the machine, working condition and external structure of the bearing, the situation before and after the failure can be clarified, and then the damage of the bearing and a variety of related reasons can be analyzed to prevent similar failures from occurring again.
